DeMarcus Cousins is not taking over the R&B game after all. Much to the dismay of many, the Sacramento Kings starting center’s video teasing a new album was simply just an April Fools’ joke and plug for his brand new website that launched today.
On Sunday, Cousins took to social media and released a video promoting his pseudo R&B debut to his official YouTube page. When news of the fake album, titled “Misunderstood”, went viral, some inquiring minds in the media followed up with the Kings, who confirmed that it was just a practical joke.
I’m sure there were plenty of folks out there looking forward to hearing the track “Big Fellas” featuring Rick Ross. I know I was.
