Titans running back Derrick Henry treated fans to one of the most entertaining plays of the 2018 NFL season so far in Thursday’s game against the Jaguars.
Henry received a handoff on the team’s one-yard line after the Titans’ defense stopped the Jaguars on downs. It was likely that the Titans were just hoping he would get them some breathing room, but he provided a lot more.
The 24-year-old running back hit a hole and took off running down the sideline, where he was met by Jaguars cornerback AJ Bouye. Henry wasn’t fazed, though, as he put a stiff-arm on his counterpart, and just kept on going. Jaguars linebacker Leon Jacobs took a good angle on the play, and he appeared to have Henry trapped near the sideline shortly thereafter. Henry had plans for him too, though, as he grabbed Jacobs and tossed him to the ground with ease.
It was clear that no one was stopping Henry on that play — as Myles Jack came in late but the Titans running back stiff-armed him away as well — and he trotted into the end zone for an amazing 99-yard touchdown.

Props to Henry for never quitting on that play, and also somehow having the stamina to make it into the end zone.
