WATCH: Isaiah Thomas is really a Pizza Guy

Isaiah Thomas delivered the first triple-double of his career last night against the Washington Wizards. In a six-point, overtime victory against the Wizards, the Sacramento Kings starting point guard finished with 24 points, 10 assists and a career-high 11 rebounds.

“He continues to amaze and impress,” Kings head coach Michael Malone said of Thomas. “Isaiah is someone that gets a lot of criticism for being a guy that may not be a true point guard. You can call him out a lot of things but you have to give him props because he’s a warrior and he has a huge heart.

“For him to go out there and get 24, 11, 10 while being the smallest guy on the court was tremendous,” Malone continued. “The fact that he did it against one of the rising stars in the game, John Wall, is that much more impressive. I’m really proud of Isaiah and his first career triple-double—I’m sure it won’t be his last. We just need more of that from him.”

In addition to delivering points, rebounds and assists, Thomas recently also delivered pizzas around Sacramento. Partnering with rideshare service Uber and local restaurant chain Pizza Guys, the 25-year-old point guard drove around the capital city last month, bringing pizzas and sodas to customer’s doorsteps. Courtesy of Uber, here’s a behind-the-scenes look at how Thomas’ stint as a Pizza Guy went.
