After making his NBA debut against the Trailblazers, Kris Joseph returned the Maine Red Claws yesterday to score 14 points on 6-17 shooting in a 98-87 loss to Sioux Falls.
Joseph is 7th in the D-League in scoring among players who’ve played 2 or more games with 21.7 ppg. He’s struggling a bit with his shot, though. He’s 35.5% from the field and just 18.2% from 3 so far. He’s shooting 90.5% from the line, though, which is helping to boost his scoring average.
Fab Melo had another 5 fouls… but he managed to grab 9 rebounds, and get 2 steals, a block, and 4 points in 24 minutes.
Micah Downs continues to score a lot of points for the Red Claws. He had 19 in this game, and he’s averaging 20.5 ppg.
