DeMarcus Cousins’ USA Basketball invite gave him a chance to experience a whole new hoops world. Last week’s festivities in Las Vegas afforded the Sacramento Kings big man an opportunity to play with several power forwards and centers that would ideally compliment him in a front court setting.
One of those men was Larry Sanders, the talented, shot-blocking big man for the Milwaukee Bucks. When Cowbell Kingdom caught up with him, Sanders spoke highly of Cousins following one of the mini-camp’s three days in Vegas.
“I love Big Cuz man,” Sanders told Cowbell Kingdom. ”I love Big Cuz. I think he’s a great player. I think he has some kinks he has to work out, as do I. But we’re still young and as long as we’re going in the right direction, I think everything will be be fine.”
