If you subscribe to the WWE Network and enter “Macho Man” or Randy Savage” into their search…you’ll end up with countless hours of matches and promos to choose from.
Not inclined to shell out the $9.99 a month to watch the former champ in action in the squared circle? Don’t fret. A quick Google search can hook you up with what WWE says are Savage’s “greatest moments “ and with a pretty good compilation of Macho Man’s top matches.
One thing you won’t find anywhere is footage of Savage when he was Randy Poffo, minor league baseball player. Fortunately, through the magic of YouTube, we get a glimpse here and there.
Prior to SummerSlam 1994, Savage and some of his fellow WWF Superstars hit a park in Chicago for some 16” softball action. Make sure you wade through the fannypacks and mullets to catch a glimpse of that stroke that helped Savage lead the 1974 Tampa Tarpons in home runs.
