After playing its home games at Paul Brown Stadium during the 2014 season, Cincinnati is ready to go home.
The Bearcats will return to an upgraded Nippert Stadium, the oldest stadium in all of college football, for the 2015 season. The expansion and renovation project, which cost the university an estimated $86 million, began in December 2013 and is expected to be completed some time in August. Seating will be increased from just over 35,000 to 40,000, and several upgrades are being made to the stadium and its facilities.
To commemorate the end of the football team’s season, Cincinnati released the following video to commemorate the Bearcats’ impending return to the place they’ve called home for the better part of 90 years.
