Western Michigan made its case to be in the College Football Playoff with a 29-23 win in the MAC title game, finishing the season with an undefeated record (13-0).
The Broncos appear headed to the Cotton Bowl at AT&T Stadium after the big win, which maybe speaks to the fact that the playoff field should be expanded to eight teams.
Head coach P.J. Fleck was pretty excited about the team’s perfect-regular-season, and he expressed his emotion in the locker room afterwards. He jumped into a crowd of Broncos players and then did a pull-up on some water pipes that were there in celebration.

Fleck is the second-youngest coach in all of college football, and it’s possible that he could take his talents to another university in the coming weeks. But for now, he and the team are going to enjoy this big win.
