If you attended last week’s rally at Cesar Chavez Park, you might have noticed a brand new mural paying tribute to the Sacramento Kings painted near the Citizen Hotel. The piece was done by Demetris Washington, a graphic artist who’s done work in Sacramento and Los Angeles. He began painting the “Long Live the Kings” mural last Wednesday and finished it just in time for the Thursday celebration.
