WATCH: Zak Showalter sky for blocked shot in transition

Junior guard Zak Showalter is one of the most athletic players on the Wisconsin Badgers basketball team. He also is one of the most fearless — putting his body on the line time after time.

In Tuesday nights Big Ten opener against the Purdue Boilermakers, Showalter put both of his biggest attributes to work in one big transition play early in the second half.

As Purdue went to work on a transition play, Showalter took to flying down the court and taking a layup attempt by Purdue guard P.J. Thompson in to the seats. He also went flying after the all-out block and made Thompson pay by landing on him out of bounds.
