We Really Want This One

A win in Game 3 would have been nice…. but its not exactly critical to the Celtics chances of winning it all.

Game 4 isn't really "critical" either… but this is the one we all should REEEEEEEEEEEALLY want.  Going up 3-1 in the series would make all of our lives so much easier (like "what am I wearing to the parade?" easier).  I would think even the most die-hard Lakers fan would have serious doubts about Kobe & Co. being able to win BOTH games in Boston.  It ain't happening.  A Lakers loss tonight would effectively end the series.  A Celtics loss wouldn't be devastating… but I certainly wouldn't be fond of LA tying the series… especially in this 2-3-2 format.

Rajon Rondo has said he can play… but its yet to be seen if he'll be at 100%.  He has a bone bruise… so I'm wondering if a little cortisone or other pain killer and brace or tape combination will be enough to keep his quickness.  If not, then Eddie House is ready to go.  Gotta love Eddie.  He's clearly upset about not playing as much as he used to… but he's keeping his mouth shut.

“You know, I played all season.  I was in the rotation all year. Just in the playoffs I fell off the face of the earth, but I’m not going to use that as an excuse to not be ready. I think it would be a disservice to my team and also to myself if I wasn’t ready.”

I would love to see House play and light it up.  I'd be shocked if he comes back next season… so I'd love to see him go out there and earn a big paycheck from another team… and put an exclamation point on the end of days in Green.
