We Still Haven’t Reached Rock Bottom

We Still Haven't Reached Rock Bottom

If you thought your mourning period for the 2011 Red Sox was over, think again.  Soon after Jon Lester’s interview with the Globe was published this response came from an unnamed player to CSNNE:

While not naming names, this line from a player who asked to remain unnamed should tell the full story: “It was the guys who should know better, the guys who have been here and often benefited from Tito’s softer hand. I mean, how many times [did] Tito defend you to the press or stick by you, and this is how [you] repay him? It’s bull—-.”

The infighting will not go away until Spring Training so hold on for the ride.  Oh, and there was this announcement today from Jerry Remy’s Grill:

Still angry over the worse collapse in baseball history?  Does the thought of a 7-20 record in September leave you seething? Every time you pass by a KFC does your blood pressure rise?  If so, join the movement as Red Sox nation takes over Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar & Grill Wednesday October 19th with Occupy Fenway!  Occupy Fenway will allow Red Sox fans to once and for all get all those ill feelings out with an old fashion airing of grievances about our beloved baseball team.

Fans will also have the chance to make their voice heard on social media.  Red Sox nation can send in their gripes via twitter. Send your message to @jerryremysgrill using the #occupyfenway hash tag. Tweets will be posted on one of Remy’s famous Screen Monsters and a live stream will also run on the Jerry Remy’s website.

Not exactly a group singing of Sweet Caroline is it?
