I love short weeks. I just noticed that I titled yesterday’s post “Monday Links” by accident. Realizing that today is Wednesday made me about as excited as this guy.
- Michigan’s Denard Robinson was named both the Big Ten and Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week for his near 400 yards of offense against UConn on Saturday, while MSU’s Le’Veon Bell was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week.
- Shaquille O’Neal seems to think he could have pulled an $8 million contract offer from the Pistons this off-season, but he signed with Boston again for another shot at a championship. I… have my doubts.
- Patriots WR Randy Moss “feels unwanted,” apparently because he deserves more attention than a 3-time Super Bowl champion quarterback who needs a new contract. Frankly, I’m surprised it took this long for Moss to make things more about himself than the team in Foxboro.
- I don’t know exactly what Brian of MGoBlog has planned for the second part of this post, but I was trying not to burst out laughing in the middle of class while reading part one.
- NHL 2011 was released yesterday, and Nightmare on Helm Street has you covered for your Red Wings player rankings.
- I’m waiting for some physics nerd to write a doctoral thesis on how J-Woww’s cans stay like this all the time. It’s mind-boggling and almost frightening. Almost.
- Brock Mealer defied all odds by walking out of the tunnel at Michigan Stadium on Saturday. If you haven’t heard his incredible story, read this and watch this. [via Maize ‘n’ Brew]
