Can you believe how fast this fantasy season went? Week 13 already and some people’s last chance to make it to the playoffs. Luckily for daily fantasy there are still a few weeks left. After missing last weeks article we are ready to help you with the best picks possible again. Remember, notables are players on the cheaper side that you can plug in as opposed to a more expensive BIG DAWG.
Lions vs Saints –
Notables – Matt Stafford 8300
Michael Thomas 6900
Every analyst I’ve listened to has said this is Brandon Cooks game to break out. I’m not in the same page. I feel Cooks has been a bit of a cry baby but know that he is always able to break one. Not noted was Theo Riddick but I think he is going to be a big part of this game.
Rams vs Patriots
Notables – Martellus Bennett 5100
Dion Lewis 5000
This is Lewis breakout game. With Gronk out for the season Bennett should get a pivotal role and Lewis should take the reigns from White. Malcolm Mitchell has been a consistent target for Brady as well so expect a touchdown this week.
Broncos vs Jaguars
Notables – Devontae Booker 6400
Blake Bortles 7100
Booker has been nothing but lackluster since starting in lieu of a broken Cj Anderson and if he can’t have a breakout game against the Jags then he is not worth rostering as more than a low end flex option in my opinion especially since Paxton Lynch will have his first career start. Bortles has looked awful but always has value due to his garbage time. With a dead backfield he will throw nonstop and I’m guaranteeing over 300 yards even against a great broncos defense.
49ers vs Bears
Notables – Kaepernick 7800
Matt Barkley 6000
Wow. Looking at both names really made me question myself. But fantasy wise Kaepernick was the best QB last week and Barkley was more than serviceable. Honestly this game could be very high scoring and just plain ugly. This game might be the Big Ugly of the week.
Texans vs Packers
Notables – Davante Adams 6800
Cj Fiedorowicz 5000
I don’t understand how Adams is still so cheap and always projected so low on Yahoo and ESPN. The guy is a bonafide wr2 with wr1 upside. He’s in my lineups and Fiedorowicz is literally the only receiver on the Texans I trust for targets and receptions.
Chiefs vs Falcons
Notables – Spencer Ware 7400
Taylor Gabriel 5700
This should be a big game for Ware. Maclin should be back and that could hinder Tyreke Hill a bit, even though I’m still starting him but Ware should see a TON of work so I’m starting him as well. This game should be high scoring and the Falcons did something with Gabriel that the Browns couldn’t do. Turn him into a potential star. I’ve always liked this guy(yes I’m sadly a Browns fan) and they are utilizing his intense speed as they should.
Dolphins vs Ravens
Notables – Ryan Tannehill 7300
Kenneth Dixon 5100
Dixon has solidified that he is the future and should be getting more and more volume but this is a tough matchup. The Dolphins are truly flying under the radar and no one is paying much attention but their defense is a top 8 in my opinion and have been playing well. Ryan Tannehill has also been playing well and has earned a notable spot this week but I do not recommend starting him thinking you will get over 17 points. Ravens defense is top 3 right now and very scary.
Eagles vs Bengals
Notables – Wendell Smallwood 5500
Tyler Boyd 5400
Very disappointing performance last week but I’m not giving up on Smallwood and neither should you. I’m expecting either a 100 total yard game or a 2 touchdown game. Sleeper. Tyler Boyd on the other hand still has great appeal to me. After Eifert I expect a most targets to him this game
Bills vs Raiders
I’ll use my paragraph on this game. There’s no one on the Bills other than the big dawgs that I would play. Shady will have an amazing game this week and it’s a toss up for wide receiver. The Raiders have too many big dawgs and I want to start them all! Murray has been on fire, Crabtree and Cooper are an maxing duo and Carr is an MVP nominee. Pick your winner.
Buccaneers vs Chargers
Notables – Cameron Brate 5500
Hunter Henry 5800
Somehow Brate is cheaper than Henry even though he is, in my opinion, the better tight end. This game will see both of them in TE end zone and both a top 5 tight end this week. Expect high scoring because both defenses are lackluster.
Giants vs Steelers
Using another paragraph because this game is huge. The Steelers need this win to help them win the division and possible wildcard spot. The Giants need to win to have even the slightest chance to catch the Cowboys for the division. These 2 offenses have such amazing weapons it’s almost unfair. Manning can throw to a top 3 wideout, an up and coming star, an older star with some pep still and a reliable tight end. Big Ben can throw to multiple deep threats, a top 3 running back and the best wide receiver in the NFL. This game will come down to the defenses this week and I truly can’t even predict a winner in this game. Im staying far away.
Redskins vs Cardinals
Notables – Larry Fitzgerald 7000
Rob Kelley 6100
Fitzlegend is looking to come back and he is due. Redskins secondary will have trouble trying to contain such speed on the Cardinals offense and Larry has the most pure hands I’ve seen in a receiver. Rob Kelley had a very slow game last week and thus some people are giving up but I’m not. They will need to establish a run game this game because Patrick freaking Peterson will be shutting down whomever he is on. Cardinals secondary are outstanding and Kirk could have a humbling game.
BIG DAWG TO SIT OF THE WEEK!!!
Sammy Watkins – I know he’s not really a big dawg yet for this year but it’s a trap game for him. He still has a broken bone in his foot and could see a snap count.
