Alex Gonzalez is once again a member of the Boston Red Sox. A waiver trade was made with the Cincinnati Reds to send Gonzalez to Boston. Gonzalez will be a defensive improvement at short but won’t add much to the offense. The Reds received Kris Negron from the Red Sox.
