Welcome Mason Harris (6-3 190) of Rossville, Ga. to the University of South Carolina Gamecocks Football team. Mr. Harris gave his pledge today to sign with the Gamecocks as part of the 2011 class.
Harris is the third commitment for USC’s 2011 class.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder has been timed as fast as 4.4 seconds in the 40-yard dash and is slated to be a linebacker or a defensive end long term. Rivals has him as a 3 star recruit.
He had other offers from Middle Tennessee State and UT Chattanooga but chose the SEC and USC. Who could blame him as USC is heading in the right direction so jump on the train to SEC glory.
Some compare him to Eric Norwood…thoughts on that as those are some mighty big shoes to fill?
