Welcome to Subway Squawkers’ new digs!

Big news. In honor of Squawker Jon and I celebrating 10 years of Subway Squawkers, we have a new, redesigned website! Pretty spiffy! We are also now part of The Sports Daily/Bloguin network, which means that our posts will get some new exposure. And we have some big surprises coming up this year, so be sure to bookmark us here and come see us every day. You can also find us on Facebook and Twitter, and our email, as always, is [email protected].

As I’m writing this, I’m watching the Mike and the Mad Dog Reunion Show, which happened Wednesday night at Radio City Music Hall. They were together for 19 years, now separated for nearly 8 years. And neither Mike Francesa nor Chris Russo has ever been as good solo as they were together. At the risk of sounding like a self-aggrandizing fool, Jon and I have a special partnership, too, and we know that we are better off doing the blog together than apart! So, you’re stuck with us!

Speaking of Mike and the Mad Dog, Joe (Green Tea) Torre was on the show. He said the one thing he would have done differently was to have pulled the team off the field during the infamous Bug Game. Of course, neither Mike nor the Mad Dog asked him about any of his bad decisions in the 2004 ALCS. Shocker.

Anyhow, since Opening Day is upon us, please read our 2016 predictions here (Jon’s) and here (mine.)
