The Los Angeles Rams had a very weird unofficial depth chart that was released a couple of days ago with only Alec Ogletree as the starting LB. Well looks like they are going to continue the nickel move with the signing of this player.
The Rams have signed CB Steven Williams and released LB Cory Littleton. They have also released RB Terrence Magee from the practice squad.
Williams, a fifth-round pick for the Chargers in the 2013 NFL Draft, slowly crept up the CB depth chart after missing all of his rookie season after a pec injury in the 2013 preseason.
Williams started two games for the Chargers last year in Pro Football Focus’ sixth-best cornerback group in the NFL. The Chargers waived him this week.
