The Red Sox are headed to Seattle and Oakland for their upcoming road trip and that means it is time to celebrate with other members of Red Sox Nation. Here is the information you need if you are in the area.
Seattle: For those of you going to the Red Sox/Mariners game on Saturday June 30th, please keep in mind to join us at the annual Red Sox Nation Pre-Game Party at Showbox SoDo. The party will run from 4pm to 7pm. There will be food available via the club’s menu along with some sort of beer special (still TBD at the moment). We’ll also have a raffle for some great Red Sox related prizes. $10 will be requested at the door to benefit The Jimmy Fund. We’re hoping for some special guests to attend the party as well, although we usually find out about that much closer to party time.
We’ve had 200 to 300 Sox fans attending this event each year and raise a lot for a great charity. It’s of course always a great time to celebrate game time with lots of fellow Sox fans here in Seattle so I hope you can join us.
Oakland: Red Sox Nation San Francisco/Bay Area Meetup group will be tailgating before the game on Tuesday July 3rd, from 4 – 6:30 pm. Following the game, there’s a fireworks show. Feel free to return to the tailgate area afterwards. They will be setting up in Lot A, near Gate A, right behind the row of handicap parking spaces. Please review the Coliseum parking lot map to make sure you come to the right place! Please RSVP here if you are planning on attending.
