What do Jose Canseco and Lindsay Lohan Have in Common?

Birds of a feather do, apparently, flock together.

Kind of.

Sunday, while vacationing(?) in Turkey, Lindsay Lohan reportedly lost part of her left ring finger in what can only be called a “boating accident”.

“This is why I shouldn’t try to help get the rope to anchor the boat. I lost half of my finger,” <strong><a href=”https://twitter.com/lindsaylohan/status/782611688826609664″>the erstwhile actress tweeted</a></strong>.

<strong><a href=”http://www.tmz.com/2016/10/02/lindsay-lohan-cut-finger-off-photo/”>According to the Thirty Mile Zone</a></strong>, Lohan tried pulling up the boat’s anchor and became entangled in it, slicing off the tip of her finger.  Her friends found the bit o’finger on the deck of the boat and a plastic surgeon reattached it.

It could happen to anyone, right? Thankfully, Jose Canseco was there to, naturally, offer up some hugs.

Now, if you don’t understand why this is hilarious…allow me to remind you.

Nearly two years ago, the 1988 American League MVP was cleaning his gun when, you guys it, <strong><a href=”http://hallofverygood.com/2014-articles/jose-canseco-loses-finger-in-gun-accident.html”>the thing went off</a></strong> and took part of his finger with it. Like Lohan, Canseco had to get his detached digit re-attached. Stories then hit the interwebs that <strong><a href=”http://hallofverygood.com/2014-articles/jose-cansecos-finger-fell-off-during-a-game-of-poker.html”>the slugger’s finger had fallen off</a></strong>, but, ultimately, Canseco would admit <strong><a href=”http://hallofverygood.com/2014-articles/jose-cansecos-finger-didnt-fall-off-after-all.html”>that was all a hoax</a></strong>.
