The Sacramento Kings have reportedly come to terms with Darren Collison.  The veteran point guard was a free agent this summer after spending last season with the Los Angeles Clippers.  According to multiple reports, Collison will make roughly $15-16 million over the next three years, all of which are fully guaranteed.

The response to Collison’s signing has come in swiftly through social media.  Here is what some fans think of the Kings’ addition of the 26-year-old veteran.

The Collison signing may not paint a complete picture though.  There are still questions about whether they will retain Isaiah Thomas.  It’s still possible that the Kings retain Thomas’ services and avoid the luxury tax by using the stretch provision on both Travis Outlaw and Jason Terry’s one-year contracts.  However, some reports suggest that Collison was signed to be the Kings starting point guard next season, which muddies the waters for Thomas’ future in Sacramento.
