In another edition of my checks on Twitter, here’s a sampling of what’s been on Twitter tonight.
On Pro Football Talk being purchased by NBC, Peter King of Sports Illustrated says the following:
Let’s get one thing straight about the NBC/PFT marriage: NBC didn’t buy PFT. NBC bought licensed content of PFT.
NBC cannot tell (Mike) Florio what to write about the NFL. I have that from both horses’ mouths.
Sorry. PFT is profootballtalk.com. I don’t think, as many of you do, that the site will be NFL or NBC tool. It’ll die if it does.
Rich Eisen of NFL Network replies:
That’s right. There’s only one person who can tell Florio what to write and that’s ME. Right, Florio? Admit it.
That’s funny.
