For the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Whats left to play for?

After the Jacksoville Jaguars debacle, most Bucs fans feel that nothing else matters. Well there is still a reason to watch the game, two actually….

1) DRAFT BABY, DRAFT!
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are simply playing for a premium draft pick, and with the current record, the Bucs are tied with their 4-9 record with 5 other teams. The Jaguars, Panthers, Browns, Dolphins, and Redskins all have the same record, but the Jags and Panthers have beaten us. We still have a game against the Panthers, so that will have a say in the matter.

Team        record   Conference record
Colts          0-13          0-9    TEN, HOU,@Jax
Rams         2-9            1-10  CIN,@Pit, SF
Vikings       2-9            2-7    NO, @was, CHI
Redskins    4-9            4-5   @nyg, MIN, @phil
Jaguars      4-9            3-7    @ATL,@Ten, INDI
Bucs          4-9            3-6    DAL, @Car, @Atl
Dolphins     4-9            3-6   @buf, @ne, NYJ
Browns       4-9           3-7    @ari, @bal, PIT
Panthers    4-9            2-8    @hou, TB, @no
 Bills and Chiefs are 5-8

Here is the NFL rules for tiebreaking the selection meeting: Ties shall be broken by strength-of-schedule. If any ties cannot be broken by strength-of-schedule, the divisional or conference tie-breakers, if applicable, shall be applied. Any ties that still exist shall be broken by a coin flip.
As you can see, some teams have it tougher on schedule, like Miami, while some have it easy such as the Colts, but when your winless, is anything easy? With three games left to play, the Bucs can still pick #2 if everything goes right, er, wrong, for the Bucs, but they could fall out of the top ten too, especial if…

2) YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!
The Bucs finished strong in 2009 to set up 2010, and they finished strong in 2010 too. The Bucs always finish strong the year before a winning season, so we need to see if the team goes out and upsets the Cowboys, or even plays a good game against them, we could be just a good offseason away from another 10-6 season. But if we see more of Jacksonville, well, It’s doubtful Raheem Morris survives that, and even I cannot defend him then.
