Dr. Robert Griffin announces no broken ankle bones. Nothing speeds a QB's recovery like good show by the back-up. lol #Redskins

It’s a rhetorical question. Robert Griffin’s ankle injury shapes up as a replay of his 2012 knee injury and the miscalculations that followed. What would the Redskins do if they had a do over?
How would fans react in a do over?
News that RGIII dislocated his ankle in the Jaguars game prompted fears that he would be lost for the season. Griffin preannounced “no broken bones” ahead of the team’s 3:00 PM press conference today. RG being RG, he will push himself to be back sooner than you think.
Should he?
I worked for the world’s largest computer technology company and we spent a lot of time talking to clients about building a learning organization. My talks about systems and processes even put me to sleep.
The point is that learning organizations are built from the top. This is Daniel Snyder-Bruce Allen territory. Did the Redskins learn anything from Griffin’s last injury? Did they put systems and processes in place as a learning organization to cope with this?
How the team manages this crises, including who manages the health of their exuberant star, will reveal whether the front office, once a weakness, is morphing into a strength.
A QB controversy will be foisted on Redskins fans whether we want it or not. http://t.co/PetBmRqhKc via @fballnation

Let this play out first. Our answers are quite different if the team wins the next six or eight games, or loses them. Winning in RG’s absence complicates everything. The irony!
