When focusing on the D-line, don't forget about Kyle Moore.
Kyle Moore will be asked to be as nasty as the Crane!
It’s never been a glamor position, and it hasn’t quite been manned as well as it was with Greg “The Crane” Spires! The left Defensive End stops the run, he rushes the QB too, and this year its Kyle Moores job to lose. Or Win. One of the many bonehead problems with the 2009 Jim Bates plan of taking light guys and telling them to gain weight to fit his scheme instead of just picking up bigger players whose bodies are already built the way they are supposed to be, are the injuries players get to their knees, ankles, etc. Kyle Moore was no exception to this and missed the first 7 games of last year. Now Moore is ready to take on the world, and he has the attitude to do it too. Often coaches have to calm Moore down, he is an excitable player with a little bit of a temper to boot. Moore has his playing weight down from 294 to a slim 267, and is ready to unleash the temper and speed on opponents’ quarterbacks backsides for 2010 and beyond.
