There might be no bigger game-changer in the NFL than what Freeney calls the “trifecta” — a sack and strip that results in a touchdown.
And there’s no better sack/strip tandem in the league. Since 2003, Mathis leads the NFL with 34 forced fumbles. Freeney is second with 29.
“You’re always trying to get off the field and get (Manning) back the ball and see what he can do with it,” Mathis said.
