Where do the Blues rank in terms of height, weight and age among NHL teams?

Back in 2013, you may remember a post I ran which discussed that the Blues were one of the heaviest, shortest and youngest teams in the NHL. It’s that time again to see where the Blues stack up when it comes to height, weight and age among the other NHL squads.

Thanks to another annual compilation from James Mirtle, we have our answer.

The average weight on the Blues is 206.5 pounds and the average height is 73 inches, or just a bit over six foot. As for average age, the Blues are 28.1 years old. Where do those numbers stack up? They’re the 5th heaviest, 21st in total height (a shorter squad) and 12th in average age, which means the Blues are now one of the older squads in the league.

Compared to last year, the only thing which really changed was average age. Let’s hope the final result at the end of the year changes too.
