With the series tied at 3-3, The Miami Heat and The Boston Celtics played a crucial Game 7. This game went down to the wire until the Heat went on a late run in the 4th quarter to close the game out. The top scorers for the Miami Heat were LeBron James with 31 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists. In addition, Dwyane Wade scored 23 points, had 6 rebounds and 6 assists. However, with Chris Bosh returning back to the floor, he scored 19 points including going 3-4 from the wing and having 8 rebounds.

Nonetheless, Rajon Rondo tried to pave the way for his team by finishing with a triple double yet again (22 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists). The other top scorers for the Celtics were Paul Pierce who had 19 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist. Brandon Bass who had 16 points and 5 rebounds, and Ray Allen helped as well dropping 15 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist.

The last few minutes were very emotional for the Big 3 as they have been together over the last five years. There are rumors saying that Garnett may end his season here and the rest of the team may go in their separate ways. No one expected the Celtics to make it this far to the Eastern Conference Finals since they made a turnaround at the All-star break to stride their way to the playoffs down the long haul. Doc Rivers has been a great coach to help the Celtics get where they are in the playoffs. Unfortunately, their story ended here as they look forward to making different changes throughout the off season and trades or rumors.

I will be sure to keep you up to date with the latest Celtics news as they go through the off season.
