Rick: After Monday night, my choice is the Indianapolis Colts. They are 0-2, but they played two of the better teams in football to start the season in the Broncos and the Eagles. Andrew Luck is off to a good start with five touchdowns in his first two games and Chuck Pagano’s squad has found a running game. Ahmad Bradshaw could be a big key to this Colts’ offense if he stays healthy and even Trent Richardson has shown some good signs. The defense is a big issue, especially without Robert Mathis. However. this is still the AFC South and the Colts play 3 divisional games in the next four weeks. I like the start that Houston has had, but I will take Andrew Luck over Ryan Fitzpatrick and Jake Locker to win that division.
Raj: The 0-2 team that I think will make the playoffs are the Indianapolis Colts. No one expected them to be 0-2, but you can’t really blame them. Their first two games were against the Broncos and Eagles, two teams with great offenses and not too shabby defenses. It’s not like these games were blowouts either. Indy only lost by 7 to Denver and by 3 (in the final few seconds) to Philly. That being said, the record should not represent who the Colts really are. In fact, they’re way better than that, they can compete, and are a force to be reckoned with in the AFC. With that being said, I think the 0-2 Colts will be in the playoffs by the end of 2014.
Kyle: The Colts have to be the 0-2 team with the best chance to make the playoffs. They have an top three quarterback. They lost at Denver (where nobody wins) and they played a good Philly team even for 59 minutes and 59 seconds. They are only a -10 in points. Their offense can score on anybody. Trent Richardson and Ahmad Bradshaw make a nice running back duo and Reggie Wayne is somewhat healthy. They play in a cupcake division, as well.
Derek: I’d like to say the Saints and avoid a clean sweep here. After all, they are a few plays away from being 2-0. However, the NFC is so much tougher than the AFC this year, so the 0-2 Colts will have a much easier time at a Wild Card spot, even if they somehow fail to claim back the division lead from Houston.
