While you watch Lightning-Penguins head towards OT, let’s review game 4

Tampa Bay knotted the series back up in Tampa on Friday night, scoring 4 goals in the first two periods, and disrupting Pittsburgh’s momentum from the previous two games, a necessary change against a team that seems to have a clear grasp on playoff momentum. The Penguins put a scare into Tampa Bay with a late 3 goal charge to close things out, but the Lightning held on for the win.

Tampa doesn’t feel the inevitable weight of Pittsburgh’s push towards the Final, and they tapped into that newfound confidence to make their own comeback. They were down 2-0 and looked completely bowled over, but instead of giving up, find themselves battling for an overtime victory.

SCOREBOARD
Tampa Bay 4, Pittsburgh 3 – The Lightning had a pair of assists from Victor Hedman, Nikita Kucherov and Alex Killorn. Consistent.
