Many people questioned (A) when Alex Rodriguez was going to hit his first home run of the season and (B) what was the reaction going to be.
Well…the answer was simple. Thursday and congratulatory.
But what we didn’t realize was this…the New York Yankees designated hitter returned from his suspension with a sense of humor. That’s right, after hitting a home run in the sixth (the 655th of his career and first since September 20, 2013), the three-time American League MVP dropped this one-liner.
