With a borderline douche/funny move, these two Dallas fans paid homage to a former-Maverick, Rolando Blackman, by wearing his patented short-shorts and of course, his jersey last night during the Mavericks/Pistons preseason game. Rolando Whitemen also threw in some extra flair, such as knee braces, headbands, armbands, the trendy arm sleeve, aviators clipped to the front collar, and without a doubt, some beer.
A couple observations: dude on the right is wearing disturbingly tight pants, and dude on the left is trying to get me to look at his left hand, but I refuse to. I don’t want to get punched. Rolando’s looking, though.
Rolando Blackman played with the Mavericks from 1981-1994 and averaged 18 points per game. His career best was in 1983-1984 when he averaged, coincidentally enough, 22 ppg.
