After meeting with the Orlando Magic's new CEO and talking to new teammate Glen Davis, Dwight Howard seemed to re-open the door to staying with the team.
Sources told ESPN.com that the Magic are insisting that they have no current plans to trade Howard and are not yet prepared to field trade proposals for him.
Over the last several days Howard has gone public with a trade demand and criticized team general manager Otis Smith for not taking his advice over the last several years on personnel moves.
