“As a football person, the preseason to me is one of the most exciting times of the year. I love the preseason. I love the practice. I love the games. The fourth quarter of a preseason game, to me, is not meaningless. Anybody who says that doesn’t understand football. It is not meaningless. It’s very, very critical to the building of a football team. Now, maybe to somebody who sits and watches it on television and wants to see the stars for four quarters, that may be different. But it’s highly competitive. Guys are fighting for their jobs. It’s very meaningful in terms of how you construct your football team.”
Yeah, but it’s ungodly horrible to watch.
