Will You Be There?

Will you be there? That’s the campaign for the upcoming Cincinnati Bearcats football season. There a 6 videos in the bunch. Here is number 6:

Butch Jones is not exactly Coach Taylor from Friday Night Lights. The best version was the third one, which is the players singing the fight song with the Keg of Nails after beating Louisville. It’s clear that beating Louisville was the biggest win of the season. It was the only one the Bearcats won on the road. It was the only half decent team they beat. I guess Miami was pretty good, they won 10 games and all. But UC beat them at home, and easily. 

I like the idea of these videos. Two things people like are highlights, and motivational speeches. Nearly all these videos have both. I’m a little surprised there weren’t more big time highlights. It seemed like it was videos taken off of youtube or something because they couldn’t use highlights from ESPN. The videos did get me pumped up for the football season. They worked. All I need now is Butch Jones to come through with those season tickets that he will donate to me. Then, and only then, we will be set.
