The Perkins School for the Blind (which I believe is named after Kendrick Perkins) is holding a raffle for 2 opening night tickets. The tickets are $2 a piece… with a minimum purchase of 5 tickets. So for just $10, here's what you could win:
- Winner and guest will enjoy the Boston Celtics Owner's 2 court-side seats for the Boston Celtics Season Opener against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers where the Boston Celtics will raise their 2008 World Championship Banner (October 28, 2008, 8:00 pm)
- Winner and guest will be provided 2 passes to the exclusive Lexus Court-side Club
- Winner will be provided with a parking spot in the players private lot at TD Banknorth Garden
- Winner will receive a basketball autographed by the 2008 World Champion Boston Celtics
- Winner will also receive a cash prize in the amount of $867.39 to mitigate the Winner's tax liability that results from winning the raffle. This prize is withheld and paid, on behalf of the Winner, directly to the IRS ($716.85) and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts ($150.54)
The ONLY catch… you have to 18 years old to win. HOWEVER… those of you who are under 18 can have a parent or older friend (or stranger… what do I care?) enter for you and give you the tickets.
All the rules are spelled out for you. Just visit this link to read the rules and enter.
Come on… for $10, you have a chance at the coolest night ever. Go buy the tickets. Good luck!
