Jersey Number Changes- Keep up with your new Bucs, and some older ones, as each year Uniforms change from time to time.
- Roy Miller gave up his #93 to Rookie Gerald McCoy, and now sports #90 last worn by Gaines Adams. A famous ex Bucs to wear 90 was Chidi Ahanatu.
- Dre Moore was #92 last year, but gave that to UCLA Rookie Price. Moore will wear 95 now, which was Chris Hovan’s number. And yes, Chidi wore 95 once too!
- Erik Lorig will wear #97 made famous by Simeon Rice.
- And finally, WR Urrutia who wore 19 last year is sporting Antonio Bryant’s old #89 now. Kevin House wore that number, as did Mar Carrier in his first season.
- The Bucs have always had one WR in the 80s on the field since the new lower numbers became popular again, but if the new rookies take off, we could see a pair of teens starting at WR one day. Arrelious Benn wears 17, and Mike Williams has 19, which of late was Ike Hilliards jersey number as well as Keyshawn Johnsons. Steve Deberg was a famous 17!
- Myron Lewis will have 23, which was Jermaine Phillips number, as Phillips is no longer on the Bucs roster. Marty Carter rings a Bell.
- Punter Brent Bowden wore #1 and Safety Cody Grimm is 35.
