We’re really starved for football, hell apparently NFL.com is so starved for some football it’s coming up with all sorts of crazy college football takes. Chief among them — the Wisconsin Badgers have the No. 9-ranked uniforms in all of college football heading in to 2014.
Say what? I’m laughing right along with you. That is, until I realized NFL.com writer Bryan Fischer (who apparently is NFL.coms’ College Football 24/7 writer) made the distinction that the Badgers all red uniforms were what he was talking about.

Wisconsin making the list might be completely shocking to most Badger fans, but the No. 1 team may not be. That’s because Fischer went with the stand by of Penn State. The Nittany Lions classic, clean and no-frills jersey can never go out of style.
It just so happens that of the 14 teams picked those were the only two from the Big Ten. Joining the B1G duo in the top 10 were Oregon, Washington, Notre Dame, Arkansas (insert boo here), Florida State (garnet helmet), BYU (alternates), Miami (FL), Wisconsin and UCLA (LA midnight).
