With @Baltimore game moved to 4:15, could Throwback Game become “Sunday Night Football”?

The Bucs are 6-3 and in playoff positioning, trailing Atlanta by one game. They lost to Atlanta by one foot, and the networks are noticing Tampa Bay. Fox has moved the Tampa Bay at Baltimore game from it’s 1PM slot to 4:15 which is a national broadcast, so could a rematch with the Falcons be far behind? Flex Scheduling means the NFL can allow NBC and it’s Sunday Night Football broadcast team to take certain games that have playoff implications and move them into their prime slot. CBS and FOX can do then counter move to replace games taken away. Nothing would help the Pro Bowl aspirations (not to mention rookie of the year) of several Bucs players than by giving the team a prime time Sunday Night Game. But wouldn’t there be a better match-up instead? In short, No, not really! Currently the match-up scheduled is Pittsburgh at Baltimore. No other game really shouts out as a better game than the Atlanta at Tampa Bay game should they decide they can do better than a Baltimore home game against the Steelers. We will know come next week, because by rule 12 days notice must be given for the move except for the final contest of the year, week 17. And that is another one the Bucs could find themselves in Prime Time for; Tampa Bay at New Orleans. You would think the Glazers would do a 2009 thing and make sure that game is shown on local TV. Here is the Week 13 schedule of games that could be used. Note the Thursday night and Monday night games are not movable. Here is the Flex Scheduling 101 info.
