Wolves 82, Clippers 91

The Wolves led by a basket after one quarter on Monday, by five points
at halftime, by 10 points midway through the third quarter and 70-59
entering the final quarter.

They then went scoreless for the fourth quarter’s opening five minutes
while leading scorer Jefferson rested on the bench and the Clippers
scored 15 unanswered points and took a four-point lead.

Even a players-only team meeting Sunday couldn’t
prevent this loss, the ninth time this season they’ve blown a
double-figure lead. Wolves coach Randy Wittman opted not to practice
Sunday in Los Angeles, the day after back-to-back games, to give his
players a rest mentally and physically.

Wolves record: 4-26
