The Timberwolves have extended qualifying offers to restricted free agents Ryan Gomes, Craig Smith and Chris Richard but did not do so for Sebastian Telfair or Kirk Snyder.
By extending those offers, the Wolves reserve the right to match any
offers Gomes, Smith or Richard receive when free-agent negotiations
begin Tuesday. They did not offer Telfair a qualifier because they
would have had to guarantee him a $3.5 million salary, but they remain
hopeful they can re-sign him.
