Wolves Updates 09/29 Part 2

Mike Trudell/Timberwolves site posts some stats from last season.

On paper, Minnesota doesn’t look half bad. It’s hard
to be shocked in a positive way about what amounts to a 30-35 win team,
but the Wolves might open enough eyes to get boosted as a 2009-10
sleeper pick in some (silly) corners.

The Minnesota Timberwolves today named Kevin Lynch the team’s radio
analyst for the upcoming NBA season. Lynch will team with play-by-play
announcer Alan Horton to call the action on the Timberwolves flagship
radio station KFAN-AM 1130…

The first Timberwolves radio broadcast of the 2008-09 season will air
on KFAN-AM 1130 on Tuesday, Oct. 14 when the Wolves head to Chicago for
a preseason matchup against the Bulls at the United Center.

We’ll see what is to be with the Minnesota Timberwolves in their
reconstruction from the Garnett trade of a year ago. Yes, Al Jefferson
looks like a star, plus they dealt Memphis the rights to O.J. Mayo for
talented but cumbersome rookie Kevin Love and all-around talent Mike
Miller. They should be better, but improvement from 22 wins isn’t
saying much.
