NBA rules prohibit trading Walker for 60 days unless it’s a 1-for-1 swap.

McHale said he wants the new personality to reflect the stability of veterans Howard, Theo Ratliff and Greg Buckner and the youthful exuberance of such players as Randy Foye, Al Jefferson, Craig Smith, Corey Brewer, Ryan Gomes and Chris Richard, etc. McHale met with Jefferson’s agent well into Wednesday evening, discussing a hefty contract extension.

Zgoda also writes that Randy Foye and Sebastian Telfair both "could see action tonight."

From Zgoda’s blog at the Star Tribune:

Wolves VP Kevin McHale on Thursday hinted at more change, saying
there’s already enough dust in the air from a series of moves that
includes July’s Kevin Garnett trade and a little more dust swirling
won’t bother anybody.

Corey Brewer’s No. 22 has fast become the Timberwolves’ top-selling jersey. No other current Timberwolves jersey comes close.

Bob Sansevere/Pioneer Press interviews Coach Wittman on his thoughts and expectations for the team.

Stephen Litel/Hoopsworld talks to Ryan Gomes.

His play on the court, coupled with the high level of maturity for his age and occupation make him a great role model for the youth of the Twin Cities.

The Timberwolves will miss the postseason for a fourth straight year,
but there is hope for the future.
