McCants considered his eight turnovers on Friday and placed the blame
— "That loss is my fault, definitely my fault," he said — squarely on
himself.
So he and his coach talked about McCants learning to recognize quicker when an opposing defense collapses upon him.
 
Also:
Second-year guard Randy Foye, out almost all of the season so far because of a kneecap stress reaction, will be re-evaluated on Monday, Wittman said.
 
 
The Associated Press on Theo Ratliff’s knee injury:
After the game, Wittman was still awaiting word of Ratliff’s MRI
results and was unsure of how much time the starting center would miss. 
 
 
Ainge may have
been reluctant to give up Al Jefferson to get Garnett because Jefferson
is going to be one of the league’s better power forwards for a long
time, but the Celtics aren’t suffering on the boards without him. With
Big Al, Boston was outrebounded last season, 40.5 to 40.3. Thus far
this season, with Garnett at power forward, they’re outrebounding
opponents, 42.3 to 37.4.
