Wolves Updates 11/9

Kent Youngblood/Star Tribune on tonight’s game at the Lakers:
The team could still be shorthanded. Guard Rashad McCants, who had
gotten off to an impressive offensive start, is still slightly hobbled
by the right ankle sprain. The good news: His ankle has responded much
more quickly than he had hoped. The bad: McCants did not practice
Thursday. McCants wouldn’t rule out a return tonight, but Wittman was
talking as if veteran Greg Buckner would get the start, and the job of
trying to defend the Lakers’ Kobe Bryant.

McCants (right ankle sprain) did not practice Thursday and is
questionable for tonight’s game. G/F Gerald Green (toe) returned to
practice. C Theo Ratliff (flu-like symptoms) should be 100 percent by
tonight. G Randy Foye (knee) is out. For the Lakers, C Kwame Brown
(right heel bursitis) and F Lamar Odom (left shoulder surgery) are
questionable. G Maurice Evans (sore back) is doubtful.

saying, ‘Well, we should have been 5-0.’ We could say right now we
should be 3-0."
