Your family hurts. Your friends hurt. The city hurts. Everything is just painful. Today, we were a lot looser than we have been in the past.
“You saw confidence in practice today for the first time in a long time, and that was important.”
Rambis credited his players’ improved focus at practice — starting with a spirited, fun one Thanksgiving morning, continuing with inspired ones Saturday after a 25-point loss to Phoenix the night before and again Monday — for their best performance of the season Sunday.
