Wolves Updates 1/9

From an 0-8 start and the depths of a 13-game losing streak, the Wolves have rebounded to win six of their past eight and post their first four-game winning streak since Jan. 1-7, 2007.
A softer schedule has played an undeniable part in that, but the Wolves (10-25) also are playing better than they were earlier this season.
They’ll face another sub-.500 opponent Saturday night when the Milwaukee Bucks (17-20) come to Target Center, but McHale and his players don’t need to make any apologies.

After a murderous two weeks in which they faced an endless procession of NBA heavyweights, from Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers to two games against the San Antonio Spurs, the Wolves were due for a break.
