Minnesota Timberwolves president of basketball operations David Kahn plans to complete the preliminary round of interviews for a new head coach with two interviews today, he said this morning.
Kahn declined to identify the two candidates involved in the search to replace Kevin McHale as coach.
Kahn said he probably would “take a day to collect my thoughts” before starting a second of interviews with a “much smaller number of candidates” than the “12 or 13” who went through a preliminary round.
President of basketball operations David Kahn addressed a number of issues on Tuesday including the coaching search, Ricky Rubio, and free agency for the Wolves.
