Wolves Updates 7/22 Part 2

The Blowtorch has designed a Kevin Love t-shirt.
The Nuggets have had interest in Miller now for years and attempted to pry him loose from Memphis prior to last February’s trade deadline.  The Grizzlies never really wanted to move him, but when that’s what it took to get O.J. Mayo on Draft Night, Memphis pulled the trigger.  Now Miller finds himself on a Minnesota squad that is at least a couple of years away from being a contender.  As such, the Nuggets could offer a first round pick and salary cap relief for next summer.  It’s probably a long-shot, but you can bet it’s one Denver will explore.
One of the things campers may learn at next week’s Make the Play
Basketball Camp, if they don’t already know it, is that sports can
become extended families.
During the week, they’ll have some of the most exciting proof of that
they could possibly get. The NBA’s Minneapolis Timberwolves star, Ryan
Gomes, is coming to talk with them.
But Low said his Los Angeles-based agent, Sam Goldfeder, recently
talked to Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle and assistant coach Dwane Casey
and the recommendation was to get pro experience overseas.
“Rick Carlisle said he liked me a lot, but Dwane Casey said I gotta
work on a few things,” Low said. “(Goldfeder) said the (Phoenix) Suns
and (Minnesota) Timberwolves had interest and there’s a chance I may
get invited to their fall camp, but the longer you wait, the more money
you pass up overseas.”
Atlanta, Minnesota, and Toronto also were interested in House.
