Jonah Ballow/Timberwolves site posts a scouting report of tonight’s game against the Knicks.
Wolves coach Kevin McHale hasn’t made a final decision on guard Randy Foye (sprained right ankle) or forward Rodney Carney (bruised groin/abdomen) for tonight’s game against the New York Knicks, but he said after the morning shootaround that both are “very doubtful.”
“Probably Rod is more iffy than Randy,” McHale said, “but they’re both iffy right now.”
Coach Kevin McHale said veteran point guard Kevin Ollie was sent home because of an illness in the family and center Jason Collins is out because of a flu bug.
McHale said several other players, including rookie forward Kevin Love, are battling the same bug and joked that he would have to check the trainer’s room to see who could play.
Now center Jason Collins is sick. He missed this morning’s shootaround because he was at the doctor’s office and will not play tonight.
Wolves PG Sebastian Telfair torched the Knicks in their last meeting Dec. 26th and loves facing his hometown team. He doesn’t love talking about his cousin.
“I’m happy to see him back on the floor,” Telfair said of Stephon Marbury Stephon Marbury . “He sat for a while so I’m pretty sure he feels good about being back in a uniform.”
